Nine R's of FREEDOM

  1. Recognize your sin, behavior or attitude problem. (Hebrews 5:14)
  2. Take Responsibility for it – stop blaming others. (Luke 15:21; Psalm 51:2-4)
  3. Repent.By an act of the will and decide to turn away permanently from it with God’s strengthening power.“Reckon yourself to be dead indeed to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:11)
  4. Receive pardon for your sins through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus and His cleansing blood. “The blood of Jesus Christ His son goes on cleansing us form all sin” (1 John 4:7) Receive the life of the Spirit to overcome all problems. “Greater is He that is in us that he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4)
  5. Renounce. Face the sin you have recognized e.g. fear, harshness etc. and say: “I renounce everything you represent in my life and in the generations before me. I command all evil spirits associated with these to leave in Jesus’ Name.”
  6. Remove. Remove, Destroy, Burn, and Bury. That which I remove does not exist. “But now also put off all these things: anger wrath, malice blasphemy, shameful speech out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his deed.” (Colossians 3:8-9) “ For you ought to put off the old man (according to your way of living before) who is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts.” (Ephesians 4:22)
  7. Resist. Power to resist is in direct relationship with your obedience. “Submit yourself
to God resist the devil and he will flee.” (James 4:7) Appropriate all He has done on the cross and take control! “Pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Cor. 10:5)
  8. Rebuke any evil spirit that seeks to reinforce the sin and sickness in your life. Cancel agreement with the thoughts from the ‘Father of lies’ and spirits doing his bidding and command the spirits behind those negative, fearful, sinful thoughts to leave in Jesus’ name.
  9. Rejoice that you are cleansed and restored and stand in your freedom. “Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, rejoice” (Phil 4:4) “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand fast therefore and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Gal. 5:1) “ And the ransomed of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” (Isaiah 35:10)
