Psalm 91 is known as the Soldiers Psalm.
It is crammed with promises of protection for those who trust in God. God protects us directly and also surrounds us with His angels of protection. This is real.
Believers should never walk in fea. When we face fear - we resist it and replace it with faith. We walk by faith. Our faith is God's loving mercy and care. His love casts out fear.
We can remind ourselves frequently of these great promises by meditating on them. Believers deliberately seek refuge in God our Loving Father and rely on Him to fulfill His promises for us.
