A MESSAGE OF LOVE FOR ALL THE WORLD

God is at work throughout the world to transform lowly human beings from sons of Adam to sons of God. He is lifting humanity out of the realm of separation, guilt, condemnation and shame and restoring us to the realm of His forgiveness, love, protection, blessing and care.
His transforming work develops in three ways. First He reconciles and forgives through the work of the Cross. Secondly He places His life within us - replacing the sinful element of our nature with His Spirit. Thirdly He expresses His nature through us as we as we yield our lives to Him to be directed by His Spirit and walk in His ways and be a blessing to the world around us.

Many of today's generation of Christians are not content with a gospel of forgiveness of sin that does not challenge them to discipleship. They want to fully discover for themselves the height, length and depth of God's love. They want to lay hold of God's destiny for their lives and to be fully surrendered and transformed into the likeness of Jesus. They do not want to be "stuck on lukewarm" and to drift along with the world. They are willing to dedicate themselves to live by His ways and to express His love and mercy in words and action. In short, they want to be disciples - not just believers in Jesus but followers of Jesus, allowing Him to live His life through them.

The “signs of the times” show us that we are near the time in history for the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) to be fulfilled and rivers of God’s Spirit to flow out through us to the world around us. Because Jesus fulfilled Passover (Pesach) through His death on the Cross we now can receive the passing over of our sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit to live within us - 'a drink of living water.' At Pentecost (Shavuot) Jesus - after His ascension - poured out His Spirit on His disciples making it possible for His followers of all generations to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and become anointed witnesses of the grace of God. (Acts.1.8) It was at The Feast Tabernacles Jesus stood up and said, "If anyone comes to me out of his innermost being will flow rivers of living water." (John 7.14)

So we see the gospels speak of a drink of the Spirit of God a baptism in the Spirit of God and a flowing of the rivers of the Spirit of God from within us. Believers worldwide are yearning for a dimension of God's Spirit that goes beyond 'the drink' and 'the baptism' to experience the 'river' of God's own life flowing through them as a river of mercy to a needy world.

The Bible foretells a day when "the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2.14) For this vision to be fulfilled the word of God's love and grace must burst out beyond the boundaries of the Christian world - which makes up only about 33% of the world’s population. As the river pours out of the Temple it will overflow its boundaries and reach the Muslim world, the Hindu world, the Buddhist world and every culture. The true face of God, the Loving Creator and Father of us all, was revealed in Jesus, and it is the right of every person to know God as He really is. Does not the Bible say that " God so loved the world" and "God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself not counting their trespasses against .. and He has committed to us the message of reconciliation?" (2 Cor 5.17-21)

When Jesus summoned "anyone is thirsty" to come to Him and drink, He was extending an invitation to all people everywhere to come out of the darkness of their false images of God and come "streaming to the goodness of the Lord." (Jeremiah 31.12) We are now at the time when reconciling work of Jesus, and the endless love of God are bursting beyond many old boundaries to reach all who are thirsty, all who are williing to haear and all who are oppressed and feel disqualified. He wants to reveal His fatherly love to the rest of humanity and to all who have remained estranged from God because of a distorted image of who He is.
