DAY 6: WORLD ON FIRE

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.” (Acts 2.16 -18)

“I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!” (Luke 12.49)

“ God be merciful to us and bless us,
And cause His face to shine upon us, Selah
That Your way may be known on earth,
Your salvation among all nations.
Let the peoples praise You, O God;
Let all the peoples praise You.” (Psalm 67.1-3)

Lord do it again – let your Spirit fall on all flesh that the entire world may hear the gospel and behold their Savior. Sweep through the nations and rouse them by Your Spirit. You shook Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost and caused them to hear, to repent and to receive. As the curse has gone throughout the world, now let the message of redemption and of the Kingdom be carried on the wings of Your Spirit to all flesh and all nations as You have promised. We look to You Lord to do this and we come into agreement with Your word of promise.

We have heard of revivals and awakenings, here and there, in various parts of the world, when Your Spirit descended on the church and convicted the surrounding regions. Now Lord (with Your church already in every nation) we ask You to release a worldwide Pentecost, worldwide revivals and worldwide awakenings in all the places where Your church is already present. Only Your Spirit can accomplish this. We can’t do this - but You can and You want to. So Lord please move, please act and please send you Holy Spirit, like fire on the earth.

As you have permitted a tiny virus to arrest the world, now Lord arrest its attention with the mighty wind of Your Spirit, and turn us to You in repentance to look to You for mercy, security and blessing.

Lord, You promised that the whole earth shall be filled with Your glory and the gospel of the kingdom will go to all nations. Thank You for redeeming us from the curse pronounced in the Law by bearing it on Yourself so that the blessings of Abraham may now come to all nations. We ask You now, in this era of communication, to cause this message to reach every corner of the earth. Release Your Spirit to prepare people to receive and to stir them from their sleep. Send Your laborers into the harvest, propelled by Your love and anointed with fresh oil.

Release upon the world the conviction of sin, and upon us, Your laborers, this Pentecost 2020, the anointing with the Holy Spirit and power for this coming global harvest.
